I just can't stop sighing...

Jane Booth makes colourful earthenware tableware. Each piece is hand thrown and individually decorated. Her pottery designs are inspired by traditional ceramics and textiles and a soft ice cream coloured palette.

These are definitely going on my wish list....
Have a fab weekend.Hoping the sun shines in your corner of the world.

More sighing....

For a long time I have been a lover of Virginia Graham  a  brilliant ceramicist who fashions amongst other things, these enchanting teacups and teapots out of nostalgic designs such as cornishware and victorian inspired fabric and old  brass taps, keys and handles.Beautiful but not too precious to use.
I love them for their eccentricity , humour and  quirkiness and because it is essentially ceramic patchwork............

Don't you just love them ,girls?

Sigh...

You know how you keep looking for the things you really know are right but you don't know until you see them.I am fairly patient in this way and am willing to wait-I have become used to waiting as I live with three people who live by the mantra-why do today what you can easily put off 'til next year.....Anyway I have been looking at tiles for ages and apart from metro tiles which I love I couldnt find what I was looking for until now..just right for a Victorian house....
.How gorgeous are these?I actually rather like the blue sink too.......I now have to save up ........maybe next year...

Sibling Revelry....

As many of you know I have an extremely talented younger sister who always makes me beautiful presents http://julessewpretty.blogspot.com/ so not to be out done I made Jules a bag for her birthday similar to the one I made for Linda for  our secret Santa.I used lots of buttons amd badges and  vintage and new fabric. I made one side a bit bohemian and rosy and..
the other side cool and ethereal...I think I shall call it the mood bag....Anyway she was thrilled with it and I hope it will be well used as  it's a proper shopper and lined nside for sturdiness...
a little bit of detail, gosh that sun is bright...
We sat in the sunshine and drank champagne which as you know is my one weakness among many......
Have a great week.
